The Beaches Of 30A Come For A Visit Or Stay For A Lifetime
World Class beaches, a foodie's delight, luxurious vacation homes, wine festivals and shopping that ranges from simple T-shirts and flip flops to high end resort wear, creates the backdrop of the 30A Scene. The Beaches of 30A offers something for everyone. The 26 miles of sugar white sand beaches with crystal clear emerald green waters has become the destination for a growing number of year round locals, as well as a tourist trade which experienced a $4.6+ billion dollar spending spree in 2019.
The events cycle in SoWal, that's South Walton County in abbreviated form, now runs all year which has encouraged even more growth in the area. While we were once known only as a summer, or winter resort area, we now enjoy a robust community 12 months out of the year. As of fall 2019, Walton County was noted as the fastest growing county in the State of Florida and #6 in the Nation. Having arrived at that attainment, our county is bustling with new construction for additional housing, shopping malls, commercial spaces and schools. Main highways are being widened and improved, and with the opening of the 331 Highway Bridge that offers separate North and South side-by-side, double lanes bridges, free I might add, SoWal continues to be a focus of many.
This energy continues to fuel the desire for many to visit along the Beaches of 30A. Often referred to as the Emerald Coast, Santa Rosa Beach is one of the 16 distinct beach neighborhoods in the South Walton County area and serves as a gateway to the other towns along 30A. And, with our sister destinations of the Sandestin Resort and the world famous fishing village of Destin, there is every reason to believe, that in the foreseeable future, the Beaches along 30A will continue to prompt folks to Come For a Visit, Or Stay a Lifetime.
